Price Increases for International Shipping Services

If you're ordering 3d printed dragons and epic creatures from 3D Fantasy from overseas, it's important to stay informed about recent changes to NZ Post's services and pricing. From 1 May 2026, several updates will unfortunately impact our shipping costs and need to be passed on to you.

Price Increases for International Shipping Services

NZ Post has announced price adjustments across its international parcel services, effective from 1 May 2026. These increases vary depending on the service you select:

  • Economy - 4.00% increase
  • Economy Tracked - 3.50% increase
  • Courier - 5.50% increase

Keep in mind that these are average increases and may vary depending on your exact location.

New Border Clearance Levy (from 1 April 2026)

The New Zealand Customs Service and the Ministry for Primary Industries have introduced new fees to cover the costs of managing goods crossing the border. NZ Post will pass these charges directly to us for items sent from 1 April 2026 onwards.

The Border Clearance Levy applies only to items sent using Courier Select and Australia services. Other services such as Economy, Economy Tracked, Economy Plus, and Courier will not have this levy applied.

The new levies are structured as follows:

  • Low value items (up to NZ$1,000) – $2.48 per parcel

For more detailed information about these border clearance charges, you can visit the NZ Customs website.

Fortunately, as our default shipping options are Economy (Tracked and Untracked), the Border Clearance Levy won't apply unless Courier Select or Australia services are requested.
